, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore), has launched CGS-CIMB eWealth.
The platform offers investment journeys with regular rebalancing of investment portfolios by using algorithms to help clients stay on track with their investment objectives. The eWealth platform provides a total online onboarding experience. If all documents are in order, clients can start investing in one to two days, using PayNow to fund their investments.
Among the two types of strategies, goal-based investing focuses on providing portfolios that seek to achieve market returns. On the other hand, thematic investing combines quantitative strategies with factor-based investing to construct baskets of stocks to capitalise on the latest market trends, seeking to achieve above-market returns.
Clients also retain control over selling and buying portfolios, and can see the constituents of their investment portfolios clearly. Apart from potential capital gains, investors also enjoy any corporate actions, such as dividend payments, taken by the companies in the portfolio. This is because the investors hold the stocks purchased in the portfolio.
